Lash Refractory Services began in 1968 as a refractory installation contractor. Over the years, LRS has become a leader in the non-ferrous metals industry, especially in the aluminum market. LRS was acquired by Lynn Whitsett Corp. in 1995, operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of Lynn Whitsett Corporation. Lynn Whitsett has been in business since 1952 and is a leader in providing products and services to the pyro-processing industries, specializing in the non-ferrous metal market. Today, LRS and our affiliates (or our affiliate companies) has the capabilities to provide a wide array of refractory and mechanical services and refractory and insulating products through our sister companies.
